The Inspection Process
We know buildings inside out.
InspecTech will examine the property from top to bottom, inside and out. We will conduct a thorough, professional inspection the structural, electrical and mechanical systems of your selected property. We’ll search for poor workmanship, substandard materials, mould, asbestos, insect and pest infestations, water and air quality issues, underground oil tanks and dozens more potentially costly or dangerous conditions.
We invite you to attend the property if possible where your inspector will present you with all findings. During your time together, the inspector will explain his findings and answer any questions you may have. This component of your inspection is designed to ensure you feel 100% informed by not only covering identified defects, but also providing a one of a kind personal educational opportunity. Our goal is to help you achieve the confidence that you are proceeding with a full understanding of the merits as well as the repairs required in your new home.
Unavailable to attend? No problem! Your Inspector will email you your report and will schedule a time to review his findings with you over the phone.
Your Customized Report
When you choose InspecTech as your home inspector, you will receive our comprehensive, type written report that explains your property inspection results fully, so you can make informed, confident fact based decision.
Once the necessary information is gathered, all details of the inspection will be documented in your type written, not “tick box” report, ready for your review before we leave the property.
Your report will be written in easy-to-understand text describing all discovered issues. Your report also includes clear, detailed photographs illustrating your inspector’s findings. You will receive the report in your choice of hard copy form, digital CD form, via email or all three.
After Your Inspection
Your report and the walk through inspection processes are designed to ensure that you have a solid understanding of your Inspector’s findings. But that doesn’t mean our services stop there!
Your Inspector will be happy to address any questions you may have at any time, whether it’s the day after your inspection, or 6 months later – we’re always here to help!
